DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENING
Child's Development
Developmental screening is a brief method completed by a professional to quickly identify a child's progress through foundational early childhood developmental milestones.
Why is developmental screening important?
Doctors and nurses use developmental screening to tell if children are learning basic skills when they should, or if they might have problems.
What age is developmental screening?
National guidelines recommend developmental screening for all children at 9 months, 18 months, and 30 months of age, and as medically necessary when risk is identified on developmental surveillance.
